Issue 25... HABITAT
This issue isn’t about houses. Habitat is the place we choose to live; the place in which we grow, where we prosper and procreate, where we learn and love; the
space in which we feel comfortable and where we feel safe.
Habitat isn’t about bricks and mortar, or steel and glass, or tasteful furniture and picture frames; although we couldn’t have an issue called Habitat without including an article about the shop that introduced good design to the masses.
We also travel to Ibiza and Italy in search of glamour and chic design. We keep things
real with Tim Sheehan’s recollections of Runcorn and the social housing featured in Sarah Hardacre’s work. No matter where or how we choose to live, we form our own habitat and our habitat forms us.
